Graduates will be able to perform autonomously and to lead teams of basic-trained responders in the response to a CBRN event. Versions of the advanced courses are adapted to various response disciplines, including police, firefighters, hazmat teams, emergency medical technicians and hospital emergency workers.

Graduates will be able to support emergency response teams with specialized functions such as forensics, hazard assessment, personnel protection management, advanced medical care and EOC management, as well as advise senior decision-makers on strategic measures during a CBRN event.

Graduates will be able to develop and manage preparedness programs for CBRN response, including, for example, development of plans and procedures, exercise development and management, training program management, business continuity planning, strategic emergency management, plans for major public events and others.

Graduates will be able to act as strategic emergency managers during a CBRN event and make appropriate decisions about protecting the public and the emergency workers, mitigating longer-term impacts, advising the political process and minimizing social and economic impacts.
